Downloading and Installing the Correct Version of Microsoft Authenticator

If you search by hand for the Authenticator app in Google Play Store or Apple App Store instead of scanning the QR Code during setup, your search may give you a list of unapproved applications or show the incorrect app as the top Sponsored selection. The only approved and vetted authenticator app is provided by Microsoft, called Microsoft Authenticator. See below for the correct version of the app.
