Log onto Point Park via the link outlook.office365.com. Input your username with pointpark.edu at the end.

Input your password.

A Microsoft prompt will ask you to verify yourself, click Next.

On the next page, you will begin the process of setting up Microsoft Authenticator. Click on Download Now if you do not have it already installed.

A new page will open and have QR codes to the IOS and Android download pages. Use your camera or QR code reader app to open them on your phone.

Exit the download page on your computer and return to the open login webpage to continue.

Once you have installed the app, you will go through several prompts asking you to enable notifications, to Allow Camera, and to Add an Account via QR Code. Make sure to Allow/While Using the App.

After clicking Next, you will be asked to scan a QR code within the Authenticator app (not the camera). Scan the code and it will start the process of Adding an Account.


You will see that the account has been added.

After adding the account, Authenticator will do a test run and ask you to enter a randomized number from the white background webpage into your Authenticator app on your phone.

If you have done it correctly, you will get a prompt saying the notification was approved and that you have successfully set up your security info and registered Authenticator.

After clicking Done, you will then be sent to a real prompt to get into your account. The screen you see (with the Point Park background) will be your code prompt page from this point forward.

Enter the number from the webpage into the authenticator app notification on your phone just as you did in the previous test run.

You have successfully installed Microsoft Authenticator. From this point forward, after you type in your user name and password, you will see your code prompt page and will be logged directly into your account after correctly inputting your code in your phone.
