How to Provide Access to Digital Bookstore Materials in Canvas (Bison Book Bundle)

As part of the Bison Book Bundle program starting in Fall 2024, faculty who adopt digital materials through the bookstore will need to enable the Course Materials link in the Canvas course navigation menu. To enable the link, follow these instructions or watch the video below:

Log in to Canvas.
Go to the course for which you have adopted digital materials.
Click on Settings at the bottom of the course navigation.
Click the Navigation tab on the next page.
Scroll towards the bottom and look for the Course Materials link.
Do one of these two things:
1. Drag and drop the link to the upper part of the course navigation, or
2. Click the kebab menu on the right and select Enable.
Click Save at the bottom of the page.

Remember to publish your course! Click the Publish button found at the top-right of the Settings or Home sections.

Recommended Syllabus Language

This course is part of our course material delivery program, the Bison Book Bundle. The bookstore will provide each student with a convenient package containing all required physical books and any digital materials will be integrated into Canvas for this course.

You should have received an email from the bookstore confirming materials provided for each of your courses and asking you to select how you would like to receive any printed components (in-store pick up or home delivery). If you haven't done so already, please confirm your fulfillment preference so the bookstore can prepare your materials.
